Jennifer Ritchie has been dancing her whole life, and she is proud to share her passion for dance with students while leading them from classroom to competition. Her career has included numerous choreography awards and championship teams.
Jennifer is the winningest coach in Saskatchewan Pom history. Over the past 18 years, she has founded multiple pom teams, all of which have gone on to great success. She has coached her teams to numerous championships, including 10 SCA Provincial titles, 6 Grand Championships, and 5 undefeated seasons.
In addition to being an SCA Certified Dance Coach, Cheer Coach, and Judge, Jennifer has been an SCA Executive member for ten years, and currently serves as President.
Recently, Jennifer was a part of the Saskatchewan Rush Lacrosse Club as the Head Coach and Choreographer for the Crush Dance Team. Previously, she spent four years as the Head Coach and Choreographer of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Trailblazers, and was the Choreographer for the 2003 CFL Grey Cup Pre-Game & Half-Time Shows.
Jennifer grew up dancing at studios across Saskatchewan. She has studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, and trained in a variety of syllabi including CDTA, ADAPT, RAD, and Cecchetti. Jennifer also holds her Acrobatic Arts Teacher Certification.
Her focus is on helping dancers reach their full potential within a team environment, while having fun and making memories to last a lifetime!
Jana started dance at the age of 4 and trained primarily at LaDanse in Saskatoon. She has extensive dance training in many forms including hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical and modern, with over 10 years of competitive dance and exam work.
Jana went on to dance and perform professionally with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Magic, during which time she had the opportunity to work with talented artists from across the globe.
Since returning from Disney, Jana has worked with Silver Fever Dance Company in Calgary, and founded Sole’d Out Dance Company here in Saskatoon. She has volunteered her talents for charitable causes including benefit shows for AIDS Calgary and World Airline Road Race.
Over the past decade, Jana has taught all levels of dancers from ages 2 to adult across many genres. She has been teaching full-time since 2011, and is looking forward to another exciting season as part of the Eclipse Dance Team.
Mary began singing at age 8, and travelled across Canada and internationally with the Saskatoon Children’s Choir. She trained under Janice Paterson, and has since been involved with the Saskatoon Music Festival and Fireside Singers.
In high school, Mary participated in concert choir and vocal jazz. She was also a cast member of Marion Graham Collegiate’s productions of “Lady Be Good” (2001), “Footloose” (2002), “Strike up the Band” (2003), and “Copa Cabana” (2004).
Also a dancer, Mary trained at Sitter’s School of Dance, and has been involved with pom and cheerleading as an athlete, SCA Pom Director, and most recently, as a coach with Warman High School’s senior cheer team.
Mary began her teaching career in 2010, where she founded the choral program and directed Foam Lake Composite School’s first ever musical production. Mary recently completed her Masters of Education in Special Education in 2014.
Eclipse Dance and Performance Training is pleased to announce that Kelli Greschner will be returning this upcoming dance season, and heading up our Ballet program.
Kelli has been dancing for over 21 years and received her training in a multitude of genres, including both R.A.D ballet and C.D.T.A. tap and jazz, at Juliette’s Dance Centre, as both a student and a teacher. Her career highlights include competing in the Tremaine Dance Convention, attending the Sean Cheeseman Dance Camp, and performing on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. She also danced along side the Moscow Ballet in their production of Swan Lake.
As the captain and MVP of the Marion Graham Pom team, Kelli has earned both city and provincial championship titles . She also went on to become a member of the U of S Cheer Team and competed at USA Nationals in California. Kelli was also a three-year member of the Saskatchewan Rush Dance Team, as well as a certified SCA pom judge.
Kelli completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction in 2014, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015, both from the University of Saskatchewan and has been working as a Registered Nurse ever since.
